Personal Interests

Dr. Kidd loves obstetrics and enjoys helping women expand their families, but her true love is her own family. She has 2 kids of her own and enjoys being involved with their activities. In her free time, she enjoys being with her husband and children, reading, cooking, and spending time at the local lake with water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking. Her husband is a professor of Pharmacy at Shenandoah University.

Biography

Dr. Kidd received her undergraduate BS in Biology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1990. She received her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences, Memphis in 1994, and then completed her residency in OB/GYN at UTCHS in 1998, serving as the Chief Resident of 44 residents in her 4th year of training. Upon completing her education, she joined Winchester Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1998 and has remained with this partnership for her entire career.

Dr. Kidd treats female patients of all ages with a significant interest in obstetrics, the treatment of abnormal pap smears, preventative women’s care, minimally invasive and vaginal surgery, adolescent medicine, and prevention of unintended pregnancy.

Dr. Kidd has previously served as the Department Chairman of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Winchester Medical Center, where she is currently on the Attending Faculty and has been since 1998. She currently acts as the Managing Partner of Winchester OB/GYN, a comprehensive women’s practice of physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Certified Nurse Midwives.
